Maccabee Task Force - We Combat Antisemitism on Campuses

Help Defend Israel
Join the Maccabee Task Force!

The Maccabee Task Force was founded in 2015 to help Jewish and pro-Israel students fight back against the rising tide of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism on America’s college campuses. Our core aim is to dispel dangerous misinformation about Israel that percolates throughout academia by building coalitions with powerful student communities that work to change the narrative about Israel and better the environment for Jewish students on the college campus. We accomplish this through a trip to Israel for the most influential non-Jewish students on each of our 75 partner campuses as well as through supplementary programming designed to continue to foster the relationships forged on the trips.

Eliya Cohen, an Israeli former hostage held by Hamas for 505 days in the tunnels of Gaza, discussed the horrific nightmare he endured as a hostage.

The psychological torment experienced by Eliya in captivity is the same constant torture Israeli hostages are still enduring today, after 685 days in hell.
GWU suspended its Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) chapter amid the DoJ investigation of the university for failure to address antisemitism on campus adequately.

While JVP markets itself as a Jewish organization, it’s extremely hostile towards Israel, and has close ties with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).
Eliya Cohen, a former Israeli hostage held by Hamas for 505 harrowing days, speaks candidly about his survivor’s guilt in a recent interview.

He was kidnapped alongside Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an American-Israeli hostage who was tragically killed by Hamas one year ago.

May the memory of Hersh and the other five victims inspire a movement for justice—and may the remaining hostages return home safely, now.
Hiding in hospitals, yet again.

Video footage of a foiled Hamas kidnapping operation from this morning shows a terror cell attempting to abduct IDF soldiers in a southern Gaza outpost. At least 18 terrorists crawled out of a tunnel, with 10 of them neutralized.

Why are terrorists hiding in hospitals?
Today is “World Humanitarian Day”.

We are supposed to recognize and celebrate humanitarian efforts around the world to relieve human suffering and better mankind. Humanitarian NGOs will congratulate themselves and send fundraising emails about their important work.

For Israelis, it is different. It is a bitter, stinging reminder that *not one so-called “humanitarian organization” has made a serious effort to contact the remaining hostages still in Hamas captivity.*

Not the Red Cross. Not Doctors Without Borders. Not Amnesty.

This is injustice.
Timur Mamatov pleaded guilty to a federal hate crime for his assault of multiple Jewish Ohio State University students in November 2023.

Mamatov approached a group of students outside a bar in Columbus, and asked them if they were Jewish. When they replied that they were, he punched one of them, fracturing the victim’s jaw. Another victim’s nose was fractured during the altercation. The 20-year-old assailant who allegedly yelled “Free Palestine,” during the attack, admitted the assault was due to the victims’ Jewish identity.
The overwhelming majority of organizations alleging Israel is obstructing them from delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza never fulfilled new mandatory registration requirements since Israel implemented them back in March.

Any organization that refuses to provide information on its employees and private donors for security purposes may be hiding sinister intentions or even ties to terror organizations, according to COGAT.

COGAT also says nearly 20 organisations have completed the registration process and are currently bringing aid into Gaza daily.
